A short recap of our 2024/2025 seasons at Ngombe.
2022/2023 Seasons done

This is a short summary of our 2022/2023 seasons. there were some BIG tigerfish landed!
Our 2022/2023 Seasons were marked by some of the best weeks of fishing ever at Ngombe but also some really tough weeks with weather taking its toll! the largest fish caught was an exceptional 24lbs hen caught by Vian Ferreira on fly!
One of the highlights was a couple of nice pink bream that came out. Ngombe is not known as a bream destination due to the structure of the river that makes it more suited for big tigerfish, but during these two seasons we got some good bream!
There were a lot of fish released above and around the 20lbs mark as our guides made the most of the knowledge gained in 2021 and built well on it.

Guests did well on conventional gear with trawling providing the best results. Fly-fishing was tough, but most of our fly anglers got rewarded with hookups with big fish, some managed to land them, some not...
One of the highlights was releasing this young tiger, only to witness a truly massive tigerfish bite it in half as it swam away!

We added a new splash pool to the lodge that helps immensely during the warm October/November season.

Here's to building on our knowledge gained in 2022 and 2023, we look forward to our 2024 seasons!
